‘The Crown’ é o grande vencedor do Emmy 2021

O Emmy Awards, considerado a maior premiação da TV mundial, ocorreu na noite desse domingo (19). A 73ª edição marcou a volta do evento presencial.

O grande vencedor do Emmy 2021 foi The Crown, série sobre a família real britânica, que conquistou sete prêmios. Entre eles, o de Melhor Série Dramática, também os quatro de atuação (atriz, para Olivia Colman; ator, para Josh O’Connor; atriz coadjuvante, para Gillian Anderson; e ator coadjuvante, para Tobias Menzies), Melhor Roteiro e Melhor Direção.

A comédia Ted Lasso garantiu quatro estatuetas: Melhor Série de Comédia, Melhor ator em Série de Comédia com Jason Sudeikis e Melhor ator e atriz coadjuvantes com Hannah Waddingham e Brett Goldstein.

Enquanto o sucesso da Netflix O Gambito da Rainha venceu as categorias de Melhor Minissérie e Melhor Direção em Série Limitada.

Cedric the Entertainer (Uma Turma do Barulho, Be Cool: O Outro Nome do Jogo) foi o mestre de cerimônia da premiação deste ano.
