Após ataque cardíaco, Peter Murphy diz estar ‘totalmente recuperado’

Depois do susto com Peter Murphy devido a um ataque cardíaco, o músico deixou uma mensagem tranquilizando os fãs. O líder do Bauhaus usou as redes sociais para dizer que está “totalmente recuperado”.

“Após o meu recente episódio em Nova York com um ataque cardíaco e ser internado no Hospital Lennox Hill e me fez passar pela terapia intensiva, estou muito feliz em dizer que me recuperei completamente”, escreveu. “Obrigado à excelente equipe de médicos, especialistas, enfermeiros e equipe de atendimento. Fico feliz em dizer que estou de novo na área”.

Murphy aproveitou para agradeceu seus parceiros de equipe, Brian Lowe (empresário) e Chantal Thomas (assistente), que o levaram às pressas para o hospital. O cantor também pediu aos fãs que doassem para a American Heart Association em vez de receber flores ou presentes.

A personal statement from Peter: Following my recent episode in New York City with my heart attack and being admitted into Lenox Hill Hospital and seeing myself go through the rigors of intensive care, I am very happy to say that I have made a full recovery. Thanks to the superb team of doctors, specialists, nurses and care staff. I am so glad to say I am up and running again. My tour manager Brian Lowe and my assistant Chantal Thomas were directly instrumental in saving my life and to whom I cannot thank enough.
